Prestige Lawns - Our Story

Prestige Lawns was founded by Kevin in 2012. When Siobhan his partner ran over the lawn mower lead and the grass grew to an unacceptable length, Kevin decided to install artificial grass into his own back garden. Having been landscaping lots of other gardens for many many years (20), he looked at the products and methods of installation in great depth.

With his contacts within the landscaping industry and expert knowledge, he knew that the way he wanted to install the grass was better than the DIY methods currently being used by other landscapers. He also found quality artificial grass that wasn’t available to the mass market. Combining these things together Prestige Lawns was born.

Kevin – Founder

I have been landscaping people’s gardens now since 1999 (I know I don't look old enough), all this knowledge I've channelled into Prestige Lawns ensuring great customer service and quality of products. (other than working) I enjoy hiking, recently completed the national three peaks in under 24 hrs. I have also achieved the Yorkshire three peaks in under 12 hrs, both very challenging but rewarding at the same time.

Martyn

Hi I'm Martyn, I've been surveying for Prestige Lawns since 2015, I really enjoy being out and about meeting lot's of different customers. If your lucky enough to have me in your home you might even get a glimpse of my novelty socks. I enjoy Spending time with my family and socialising, other than that I regularly play football and enjoy going to the gym.

Siobhan

I have worked with Prestige lawns full time since 2013. I am an enthusiastic person who loves working in a team. My academic achievements are teaching young under privileged children life skills and then creating a new qualification for the local charity I was working for. I'm also passionate about healthy eating and fitness and I'm hoping to run my first marathon this year. My favourite colour is green and I enjoy growing my own fruit & veg, star gazing and travelling.

Darren

Hi I'm Darren, I've worked for Prestige Lawns since 2013, I've worked my way up to Installation manager then to my current position as office manager, growing with the company and putting my organisational skills to good use. On the weekends I like to take my boys to football and girls to dance classes, with a young busy family I like to unwind with the occasional beer and my wife.

Joshua

I've been the Marketing Manager at Prestige Lawns since 2023. I enjoy being able to adapt to new marketing trends as well as meet lots of different people (& pets) for blog and social media posts. When I'm not working I enjoy staying active, writing music and exploring new places.

Rob

Hi I'm Rob and I've been the installations manager at Prestige Lawns since June 2022. I try my hardest to keep the daily artificial grass installations running smoothly. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and swimming. I also love going out with my partner exploring new places to eat.

Being an independent family run company they have been able to move fast with the ever improving products available.
